Itinerary
Your journey with STE Meran Transport begins with a morning pick-up from Casablanca. Drive to Rabat, where you will visit the Kasbah of Oudayas and Hassan Tower.
Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to explore its historic gates and main square. After lunch, travel to Fes. Arrival in the late afternoon and overnight stay.
After breakfast, explore Fes with a local guide. Discover the ancient medina, traditional souks, and historical landmarks.
Visit the Royal Palace gate, the old Jewish quarter, and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Walk through narrow streets to see artisan workshops, tanneries, and cultural sites. Overnight stay in Fes.
Depart Fes and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture, then continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys.
After a break in Midelt, continue through the stunning Ziz Valley with its palm groves and panoramic views. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a hotel near the dunes.
After breakfast, explore the Merzouga region by 4×4. Visit Hassi Labied oasis, the seasonal lake, and Khamlia village to enjoy Gnawa music.
Continue to desert areas to meet nomadic families and learn about their lifestyle. After lunch, return to Merzouga and prepare for a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Watch the sunset, enjoy dinner, traditional music, and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 and meet your driver.
Visit the traditional Rissani market (on market days), then continue through villages to reach the Todgha Gorges, famous for their high canyon walls.
After lunch, travel to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive through the Valley of Roses and continue to Ouarzazate, where you may visit film studios (optional).
